The Solo A Star Wars Story soundtrack was very unique. John Powell had a tough task obviously as he had to make the music StarWarsy but not exactly like the Saga Films or Rogue One. A new sound was needed for this film. And he fucking killed it.
The movie has memorable songs like Qira and Han Solo’s love theme (funnily named “Lando’s Closet” of all things) and the “Train Heist” track is awesome as well. When Val shoots her cord at the track and the music goes with it smoothly as she casts away, it gets me sk excited. Sadly that would be her last time doing that. Poor Val.
Btw, did it sound really weird and uhhh suggestive to anyone else when Tobias joked that he wanted to play the Valocord? Or whatever he said LMAO. Maybe my mind is in the gutter.
To me.. the one song that sticks with you is “CHICKEN IN A POT”. Yeah bitch. This is fucking Star Wars movie with a song called “Chicken in a goddamn pot”. And it’s as awesome and trippy as you think.

As a dashing young Han Solo follows the space pirate Tobias Beckett inside with Chewie, you see the upper echelon and high class club that THE CRIMSON DAWN has on Drayen’s super cool yacht.
The woman in the uber gold dress sings high pitched while the groovy tunes play and then this fucking green little alien life form, Maybe not even bigger than 2 fists put together, smiling and all let’s out a super deep “I KILLED PUBERTY TWICE” voice and its like whoa. This is fucking amazing.
It feels like a damn club. When you walk into the night club in GTA IV as Niko Bellic and the vibe is there, you feel it. When you follow your heroes into Drayden Voss’ penthouse party room — you feel like a cut above everyone in the galaxy.
And if you’re Drayden Voss, you feel like 3 or 4 Cuts above the rest of the galaxy. Seriously he is cut the fuck up. Wonder if he ever asked someone “WANNA KNOW HOW I GOT THESE SCARS?”. Probably not. Voss isn’t that nihilistic. But he is a mean ass son of a bitch.
SO Who is this Fantabulous Duo that delivered a 5 Star outta 5 Stars performance on the Voss yacht?
The yacht is called THE FIRST LIGHT. Just to be official. and the little green blubberball singer’s name is Luleo Primoc. And if you thought you liked him already, read this short summary of him from the almighty WOOKKIEEPEDIA:
Luleo Primoc was a musician who performed on the First Light in 10 BBY. The tiny Gallusian was a chart-topping singer in the years before the Clone Wars and was also known for starring in a series of holomovieswhile wearing a dashing humanoid exo-suit. Seriously though. Amazing. He is the weirdest damn thing. He probably is scared shirtless that someone will drop. his jar and he will be splattered on the floor or something, but nevertheless he delivers a phenomenal performance.
Okay, the lady he sang with was eccentric herself. Over the top gold. All over.
She is basically, I would say StarWars’ Beyonce perhaps? Idk.
